Police: Autopsy not finalized for Valdosta State University student

VALDOSTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police in Valdosta say the autopsy for a Valdosta State University student is not finalized yet.

Valdosta Police, Lowndes Sheriff's Office and GBI will meet in Valdosta on Tuesday to discuss the homicide of 17-year-old Jasmine Benjamin.

On Nov. 18 campus police found Benjamin unresponsive.

The freshman student was later pronounced dead by the Lowndes County coroner.

Valdosta police Cmdr. Brian Childress said the autopsy raised more questions about the death, but declined to provide details.
