Kennesaw City Council to vote on mayor - CBS Atlanta 46

Kennesaw's City Council will soon vote to confirm a mayor pro tem for the year.
The current mayor, Cris Eaton-Welsh, told The Marietta Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/Utmud2 ) that she will nominate Councilman Jeff Duckett for the post. Duckett said he is willing to serve.
The vote is scheduled for a meeting Monday night.
City officials are also expected to vote on hiring a lobbyist to the state Legislature.
