DeKalb County apartment fire displaces 39 people

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A DeKalb County apartment fire displaced 25 adults and 14 children Friday morning.

The fire at Terra Creek Apartments on Central Drive broke out around 7 a.m.

Officials said the fire may have started in a bedroom of one of the residences, but no exact cause has been determined.

Red Cross volunteers are providing food, clothing, bedding and infant supplies.
