Bartow County deputies searching for suspected lottery ticket thief

BARTOW COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of taking a roll of lottery tickets from a convenience store.

On Dec. 14, a man walked into the store on the corner of Joe Frank Harris Parkway and Mac Johnson Road.

Authorities said while the clerk was away from the register, the unidentified man walked up to the counter and took a roll of lottery tickets.

After taking the tickets, the man got into a white Kia Optima and left the scene.
