MCDONOUGH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
People in McDonough offered an alternative to the Peach Drop. They hosted the 2nd Annual Geranium Drop.
The unique, family friendly New Year's Eve event held on the historic McDonough Square includes great music, food and fun.
People were encouraged to bring their blankets, lawn chairs and dancing shoes. Local restaurants in the historic square offered warm goodies like boiled peanuts and hot cocoa. Two local bands rocked the stage and two dance floors were set up for people to let loose.
