Two-alarm fire destroyed hardware store

TUCKER, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A two-alarm fire destroyed an Ace Hardware in Tucker.

The store is located at 4365 Cowan Road.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm from the building. When they arrived, they saw flames shooting from the building.

Firefighters tried using a fire hydrant in front of the building, but it had low water pressure. They then ran hoses to other hydrants in the area.

Firefighters were ordered to stay 30 to 40 feet from the building after a series of small explosions. They say there were kerosene, propane and oxygen tanks in the building.

No one was injured. Firefighters have not determined the cause of the fire.
