Victim shoots, kills would-be robber

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A 21-year-old was charged with armed robbery and felony murder on Monday.

Police were called to Grady Memorial Hospital after Roderick Banks dropped off another man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators discovered Banks and another man attempted to rob someone near 20 Jackson St.

The victim shot Banks' accomplice in self-defense.

Then Banks drove his accomplice to the hospital where he later died, according to reports.
