Shooting at South DeKalb Mall

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

DeKalb County Police are investigating a shooting at South DeKalb Mall.

Police say one person was shot outside the Macy's store.

Officers are searching for the suspect. Helicopters are providing assistance from above.

Last-minute Christmas shoppers said the shooting is terrifying.

"I got my grandma here, and all of my kids shopping, this is just scary," said Aisha Cooper.

CBS Atlanta News watched at least one ambulance arrive on scene and go behind the mall. There were reports that their were multiple suspects fleeing the scene on foot.
