On the Square Guns donates gifts to children in memory of Newtown victims

MCDONOUGH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

After the shooting tragedy in Newtown, CT, a metro Atlanta gun shop plans to make Christmas a little brighter for deserving children in the McDonough Housing Authority Community.

On the Square Guns and Jewelers will donate 26 bicycles in memory of each life lost in the shooting tragedy.

They are also providing toys and presents to 26 children in the MHA Community.

The project was coordinated by Robert Brown, founder of Vettes for Vets Corvette Club.

Brown is also a certified weapons safety instructor and an employee at On the Square Guns.

The bikes will be delivered Friday at 5 p.m.
