Gov. Deal to deliver commencement speech at Georgia State

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Gov. Nathan Deal will deliver the commencement speech at Georgia State University's fall commencement on Tuesday.

More than 2,500 students will listen to Deal speak at the Georgia Dome.

The ceremony will include both summer graduates and fall degree candidates.

Dennis Lockhart, the 14th president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, will receive an honorary degree during the ceremony.

He serves on the Federal Reserve's chief monetary policy body, the Federal Open Market Committee.
