ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Northside Tavern in Midtown hosted a toy drive Sunday.
The bar known for good music and cold malty beverages is making the holiday more special for local kids. Local musicians helped out by playing music. The music started at noon Sunday and continued through the night.
Organizer Lola Gulley said the money and items will go to the Atlanta Union Mission on Howell Mill Road and the Red Cross. She said, "It's not a lot but it's just something to do that makes me feel good, and I think it makes everybody else feel good too."
The music and toy drive will end at 2 a.m.
