CLAYTON (CBS ATLANTA) -
Police have arrested a man in Clayton County and charged him in the July death of a 2-year-old boy.
Kerma Matthews was arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of child cruelty.
On July 11, 2-year-old Jaden Harvey died on the way to the hospital after his stepfather called 911, saying Jaden was ill.
The medical examiner never released Jaden's cause of death or autopsy report, saying that it contained sensitive information.
After Jaden's death, his twin and two other siblings, ages 5 years old and 8 months old, were all taken to the hospital and then put into protective custody. No further details on their conditions were released.
Police have not released the name of Jaden's stepfather and what relation, if any, Matthews had to Jaden.
