Firefighters battle large building fire in south Fulton County

Firefighters work to control a large blaze at an abandoned building in South Fulton County Thursday.

FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Crews are working to get a large fire in an abandoned school building under control.

No injuries have been reported and police said evacuation of the surrounding area has not been necessary.

Firefighters arrived at the scene near the corner of Spring Street and Campbell Drive in South Fulton County at around 5:15 a.m. Thursday.

Fulton County Fire has not released any information on the cause of the fire.

The building was last used as a training center for Fulton County, according to the fire department.
