Judge bans North Carolina Choose Life license plate

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA/CNN) -

A decision in the legal battle over Choose Life license plates was made in North Carolina.

Federal judge ruled the state can't issue choose life plates without offering ones with different viewpoints.

Pro-choice advocates and the American Civil Liberties Union were happy about the decision.

But pro-life advocates say the ruling suggests the state will now have to offer a "kill the sea turtles plate" to counter the "save the sea turtles" version.
