Man arrested in fatal shooting in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Gwinnett County police officers arrested a man wanted in a 21-year-old's shooting death.

Police said Omar Santana was arrested on Wednesday after a drug investigation.

Police said 21-year-old Malia Arianne Ross Robinson was shot by Santana after an argument started at Liquid Ultra Lounge on Holcomb Bridge Road.

Investigators said Ross was with a group of friends when the dispute started up again at a gas station near the club.

Ross and her friends drove to 4161 Phil Niekro Parkway where Santana pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots, according to police reports.

Santana has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, aggravated assault, and felony murder.
