Former Barrow County firefighter arrested on child porn charges

BARROW COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Barrow County Fire Department confirms that a firefighter was terminated after he was arrested Thursday on child porn charges.

Willie Stancil Etheridge, 37, was a nine-year veteran of the Barrow County Fire and Emergency Services.

He was not arrested while he was on the job, according to reports.

Etheridge was charged with 29 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
