Newton County teachers' deaths ruled murder-suicide

COVINGTON, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police have ruled the deaths of two teachers as a murder-suicide.

Robert and Lendene Dendy were found dead in their Newton County home on Monday.

Robert Dendy was a physical education teacher and athletic director in Rockdale County until last year.

Lendene Dendy was a third grade teacher at Live Oak Elementary.

The family said there was no indication the couple was having problems.
