COLLEGE PARK, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
It's been a month since security cameras recorded two men walking into the BP gas station in the 5,000 block of West Fayetteville Road.
One opened fire killing Alagie Dibba during a failed robbery, and both men got away.
The shooting devastated Dibba's family who say the 28-year-old would never hurt a fly.
"He is the kind of person who doesn't have hard feelings for anybody. Anytime you see him, before you say something to him, he will smile at you first," said Sidibuia Jobe, Dibba's uncle.
Investigators say the same men who killed Dibba also tried robbed a BP station in Clayton County shortly after Dibba was shot.
Despite numerous tips, police say they're still waiting on the tip that will break open the case.
"It's been very frustrating I was hoping that being that it is the holiday season that somebody's conscious would work overtime and give us a call and help us out," said Maj. Linda Burke, with College Park PD.
Police are hoping Crime Stoppers will help convince someone to make that call.
"They have agreed to give us up to $2,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in this homicide," Burke said. "Somebody knows something they just haven't contacted us yet."
Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637).
