GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
More than 40 medical professionals and organizations will be recognized Tuesday evening for their contribution to the well-being of Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta citizens.
The Gwinnett Chamber's Healthcare Excellence Awards will be announced at 5:30 p.m. at the Atlanta Marriott-Gwinnett Place in Duluth.
Of those nominated, nine winners will receive long-deserved recognition for outstanding effort and commitment to the healthcare industry.
The awards series was created in an effort to honor local organizations and professionals who have made an impact on healthcare in the community through their concern for patients, research and inventions.
