ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Global Peace Convention 2012 wrapped up Sunday at the King Center in Atlanta.
It was a four-day gathering of international leaders. Sunday's town hall-style discussion allowed delegates to interact with community leaders and civil rights icons building on the theme, "The Power of a Legacy."
The Rev. Dr. Bernice King, the Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery, Rep. Stacey Abrams and Rabbi Dr. Analia Bortz were among those who participated.
The Global Peace Convention is a series of forums and youth events centered on international development and peacemaking strategies. Participants collaborate on strategies in education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, community development and conflict resolution.
