MARIETTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A couple was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marietta, according to police.
Cobb County Police said the driver Ryan Lombardo, 40, and his passenger Jessica Lombardo, 35, were killed when their truck went off the road.
The crash happened on Paper Mill Road near Sibley Forest Drive early Saturday morning.
Investigators said the driver of the Ford F-150 was speeding; the posted speed limit is 35. He tried to go around a curve, went off he road, and hit a tree. The truck then started spinning, hit another tree and stopped against a third tree.
Investigators are still looking into the crash.
