Atlanta band holds toy fundraiser - CBS Atlanta 46

Two popular Atlanta-based bands will join forces Saturday to help Toys for Tots.
The Whiskey Gentry, along with special guests Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, will perform at the Variety Playhouse for the annual "Merry Y'alltide" event.
Donation stations will be set up at the venue's entrance to collect toys for children in need. Fans are also asked to bring books, games, and sports equipment. Those who donate will receive a collectable poster designed by the band.
The Whiskey Gentry were recently chosen by Creative Loafing Atlanta's Critic's Pick for Best Local Country Act.
The bands take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 and $17.50 at the door.
