Braves pitcher helps out food bank

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta Braves reliever Jonny Venters is pitching in to help the Atlanta Community Food Bank today. He has joined 50 Bank of America volunteers to fight hunger in metro Atlanta.

Bank of America has pledged a million dollars to food banks across the U.S. For every dollar pledged to food banks, Bank of America will donate an additional two dollars.

One in four Georgia children live in homes that don't have enough food.
