Armed robbery at Burger King in Marietta

MARIETTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Burger King on Thursday along Sandy Plains Road in Marietta.

According to investigators, the man entered the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money from the cash registers and the safe.

The man fled the building in an unknown direction.
