Mark Melvin/CBS Atlanta- A police car was used in the search for the driver who fled the scene on foot.DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
No one was injured when the driver of a commercial pickup truck lost control and struck a vacant home early Thursday.
DeKalb County police said they were not chasing the vehicle, but believe the driver tried to elude a police car that was behind him at around 1:30 a.m.
The driver lost crashed into a house on South Deshon Court and then fled the scene on foot.
Crews, including a K-9 officers searched the area for the driver. It is unclear whether the he was located.
