Former White County deputy sentenced in child pornography case

WHITE COUNTY (CBS ATLANTA) -

A former White County sheriff's deputy was sentenced to federal prison by United States District Court Judge William C. O'Kelley for making child pornography.

Christopher Thomas Davis, 34, pleaded guilty to the charge Sept. 17.

According to court records, Davis took photographs of a 6-year-old girl engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The photographs were taken inside Davis' home.

Davis was sentenced to 15 years in prison, to be followed by 15 years of supervised release.
