COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Cobb County Chairman Tim Lee hopes his fellow commissioners will approve the plan he proposes for spending $22.5 million in excess funds.
Of that, Lee wants to use $4.5 million from the county's medical and dental accounts to give employees a 3 percent pay raise.
Lee said the county has not given employees a raise in five years.
County commissioners will vote on Lee's proposal at their meeting Tuesday night.
