Firefighters put out fire at southwest Atlanta church

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Firefighters have put out a fire that started Wednesday afternoon in southwest Atlanta.

It happened at New Zion Hill Baptist Church on Hendrix Avenue.

A spokeswoman with the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department told CBS Atlanta News that a neighbor reported the fire and no one was found inside the church.

Firefighters were investigating the cause of the fire.
