DOUGLASVILLE, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A man was charged after he shot another man in the face during an argument, according to Paulding County deputies.
The incident happened on Saturday along Trailwood Gap in Douglasville.
Deputies arrested Michael Elliot, 35, and charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of marijuana.
According to reports, Cash was involved in some type of argument with a woman when the victim, Richard Crankshaw, 33, tried to intervene.
Crankshaw was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
