Police: DeKalb County driver suffered medical condition before crash

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The DeKalb Police Department released the identity of a man who died in a two-car wreck.

The accident happened Sunday just after 1:30 p.m. along Forest Pines Drive and Panola Road.

Detectives believe the driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt, Troy McLaughlin, suffered from a medical condition before losing control and crashing into an oncoming Lexus.

McLaughlin was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to reports.

The people inside the Lexus were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
