Tripp HalsteadWINDER, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A benefit concert will be held Friday to raise funds for a 2-year-old boy who was hit in the head by a falling tree limb.
Since the Oct. 29 accident that left Tripp Halstead with a traumatic brain injury, his family has been praying for his recovery and a miracle.
On Friday, four southern gospel bands will take the stage at the Barrow County Leisure Center in Winder.
The event will help raise money to help cover Tripp's medical expenses.
Admission to the show is free, but donations will be accepted.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the show will start at 6:30 p.m.
