Suspect wanted in Rite Aid pharmacy robbery in Marietta

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Cobb County police are searching for a man who robbed a Rite Aid pharmacy in Marietta.

According to investigators, the man walked into the store on Sandy Plains Road wearing a full-face motorcycle helmet.

The man jumped over the pharmacy counter and pointed a long gun at the pharmacist demanding Oxicotion and Xanax.

After taking the pills, the man fled down Scufflegrit Road towards Allgood Road.

He was last seen wearing a motorcycle helmet, a black zip-up jacket with a red hoodie underneath it.
