DeKalb County breaks ground for new senior center

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

DeKalb County officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 15,000 square-foot senior Center.

The ceremony will kick off on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at 3393 Malone Dr. in Chamblee.

The facility will have a commercial kitchen, community meeting rooms, a computer lab, a fully equipped fitness room, and access to walking trails.

In the main dining hall, seniors will enjoy educational seminars and civic events.
