Hall County man wins $7 million lottery jackpot

HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Lottery officials presented a Hall County man with a check for $7 million this week.

Cody Locantro of Gainesville, who plans to marry his longtime girlfriend, was selected as a winner from the Oct. 30th $7 Million Jackpot Extra Chance Promotion. Georgia Lottery players submitted non-winning tickets from the instant game for entry into the drawing.

Locantro says he will use the money to plan his wedding with his girlfriend and set up a trust fund for their 3-year-old son.
