After a month long investigation, a 54-year-old man was arrested for breaking into cars and using a stolen credit card.
Cherokee Sheriff's detectives arrested Angelo Rivens and charged him with four counts of entering cars, and 30 counts of financial transaction card fraud.
Between Oct. 12 and Oct. 17, four different people had wallets or purses stolen from their cars at Hobgood Park.
After each theft, the victim's credit cards were immediately used at different locations in Cherokee and North Cobb, according to reports.
Video surveillance captured images of Rivens using the cards.
When investigators searched his home, property from the illegal purchases was located and seized, according to reports.
