Gainesville groom-to-be wins $7M

HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A $7 million prize from the Georgia Lottery will sweeten a Hall County man's plan for wedding bliss.

Cody Locantro was selected as a winner from the Oct. 30 $7 Million Jackpot Extra Chance Promotion, winning a $7 million prize.

Georgia Lottery representatives presented Locantro, 35, with an oversized check Thursday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.

Locantro recently got engaged, but hasn't set a date yet.

He works at a manufacturing plant, anticipates planning for his family's future.

"We have a 3-year-old son, so I want to set up a trust fund for school," he shared.
