Hall County firefighters battling roadside grass fires

HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Firefighters in Hall County are working to extinguish grass fires on the westbound side of Highway 53 in Hall County.

According to Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell, the fires covered about one fourth of a mile.

The fires were reported around 2 p.m.

Fire equipment is blocking the roadway, so expect traffic delays in the area.
