Should students get out of school for Muslim holidays?

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (CBS) -

Kids get out of school for all sorts of holidays. Should they also get a couple days off for Muslim holidays?

That question is being debated in Florida.

The Council of American-Islamic Relations made the request and it led to a heated school board meeting in Fort Lauderdale Thursday night.

The school board was not able to come to a decision, and will meet again.
