FORSYTH COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Forsyth County firefighters and Cumming Police were on the scene of a fatal mobile home fire on Sawnee Drive.
As firefighters were fighting the blaze and searching the home, they discovered Marcus Junior Sams, 64, unresponsive.
Sams' body was removed from the home, but he later died from his injuries.
He lived alone with his dog. The dog also died in the fire, according to police.
The exact cause and start of the fire is still under investigation.
Investigators said the fire appears to be accidental.
