ATHENS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Athens-Clarke Police said an 89-year-old woman was tied up during a home invasion in Athens.
The woman told police two men barged into her home on Lexington Road and claimed to have a gun.
The men told her to sit in a chair and one suspect then wrapped electrical tape around her wrists and ankles, according to reports. The suspects took $1,000 worth of jewelry.
Investigators obtained surveillance photos from a nearby bank, which they believe show the van around the time of the robbery.
