Cobb County police looking for leads in BP gas station robbery

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Cobb County police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at 3340 Cobb Pkwy SE in Atlanta.

According to investigators, an armed man walked into the BP gas station and threatened an employee with a handgun.

The employee opened the cash register and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from it.

After doing so, the suspect calmly walked back to his Jeep and was last seen driving northbound on Paces Mill Road.

The suspect was about 5'10" and 20 to 30 years old. He was described as being heavyset.
