Gas prices continue to fall in Metro Atlanta

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Good news when you head to the gas pump Monday morning.

Prices continue to go down. They have dropped at least 8.5 cents over the past few weeks.

But, prices are still higher than they were a year ago.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular is $3.68.

In Georgia, it's even less.

The average here is $3.54 a gallon.
