Gwinnett County police will continue working Wednesday to find the people responsible in a deadly shooting.
The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday in unincorporated Lawrenceville in the Riverstone subdivision.
After getting a call of shots fired in the area, police found the body of a young man near the intersection of Bridge Walk Drive and Oak Road.
The man was later identified as Rashad Jones, 22, of Lawrenceville.
Homicide investigators interviewed several people and potential suspects and learned that the motive may be some type of rip off involving a scam, according to police.
None of the suspects or victim lives in the neighborhood where the shooting took place.
Police have not released any other information about the possible suspects.
