Woman shot 8 times returns home, husband awaiting trial

SANDY SPRINGS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A woman who police say was shot eight times by her husband is back home Friday morning.

Adina Parson has been released from the Shepherd Center, where she was undergoing rehabilitation.

Police said her husband, Michael Parson, shot her outside their Sandy Springs apartment in April.

He is being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail awaiting trial.

Police said Parson was engaged to another woman when he allegedly tried to kill his wife.
