DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
DeKalb County police have identified the victim killed in a double shooting at the Marathon gas station in the 2500 block of Candler Road on Thursday night.
Police said Jimmy Sims, 20, and another man shot at each other near the gas pumps in front of the store.
Detectives said Sims was the victim of a robbery, but tried to fight back.
Both men were rushed to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. Sims died on Friday morning.
The suspect remains in serious condition, according to police.
