DECATUR, GA (AP) -
A cast member of the VH1 reality show "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" has been released from a DeKalb County Jail after violating probation.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that rapper Lil Scrappy was released from jail Wednesday, but a judge imposed stricter conditions on probation terms from an earlier conviction.
Scrappy, whose name is Darryl Richardson, was arrested Monday for violating probation from a 2008 drug conviction.
DeKalb County district attorney spokesman Erik Burton says the conditions of Richardson's five-year probation didn't require him to report regularly to a probation officer. However, Burton says the probation did require that the rapper inform the officer of any address change.
Burton says that when a probation officer tried to recently reach Richardson, he couldn't be found because he changed his address.
