Nonprofit gears up for walk against domestic violence

RIVERDALE, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc. will host the second annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes.

The event is a community walk against domestic violence Oct. 20.

Advanced registration is $25 for adults 18 and older, $10 for students, and $90 for teams of four.

The Walk will be held at the Riverdale Town Center at 7210 Church Street in Riverdale.

It will begin at 8 a.m., culminating at 1 p.m.
