CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Clayton County woman is facing charges after she stabbed the father of her child, according to police.
On Sunday officers responded to the stabbing that happened after 6:30 p.m., in the 1800 block of Bentwater Ct in Riverdale.
Witnesses said Shamontay Robinson, 26, was fatally stabbed by 25-year-old Jemeka Riley.
He was the father of her child, according to reports.
Robinson was stabbed in the neck and taken to Southern Regional Medical Center.
Medics said he died at the hospital.
Riley was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
