MCDONOUGH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
McDonough residents will feel less pain at the pump on Monday, courtesy of Turning Point Church.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., members of the congregation will be at the Chevron gas station located at 898 Hwy. 81 E. in McDonough to pump gas and wash windshields.
The church is buying down $1 per gallon of gas for community members to experience gasoline prices under $3 per gallon.
Turning Point says there is no cap on how much gas residents can receive.
