Atlanta Falcons fans are relieved that the NFL replacement referees have blown their whistles for the last time.
"Bringing in the professionals that know what they are doing is going to help the safety, and going to help making sure the game comes out fair and square," excited fan James Manley said.
Dirty Bird fans all point to a controversial call during last week's Monday Night Football game as the shining example of why the real refs are needed.
"I think what we saw Monday with the Green Bay game is the biggest example of how the replacement refs could impact the outcome," fan Kade Miller said.
In the Falcons' home opener, fans watched in frustration at what many saw as botched calls. But the Falcons faithful are a forgiving bunch.
"Those refs were doing the best they could, so I can't really hate on them to much. They were filling in where they were needed," said "Bird Lady" Caroline Grey.
